mornin' all

    It takes me entirely too long to wake up in the morning. I always think I want to be one of those people that wakes up at 6am and gets a full day in my 10am when I have to be at work. It's just not so. I crawl out of bed around 8:30 and drink coffee for an hour before rushing out the door. It wouldn't be so bad if I was productive at night, but I'm not. There is some time management that needs to be corrected here. Anyway, enough about that.

    I'll show you guys what I am working on at the moment.

    I did a house show a few weeks ago with 5 talented ladies and Jill, who organized the show, bought this pillow and I am making her one to match it.

    I'm switch the yellow and orange on the new pillow.

    I'm also wanting to make a few different color combinations of this quilt.

     I am really in love with pattern right now. When the idea originally came to me, I wanted the purples to be in a tree form. I couldn't wrap my head doing that, so I just made a stripe. I'm really happy with how it turned out. Here's a little close up picture.

    The one I am working on right now is a little more muted, blues and grays.

    The battery on my camera is charging at the moment, so I will have pictures of current projects soon.

    I still feel a little stiff and awkward writing in this thing. I'm just going to keep on truckin' and hope to get more loose. But right now, I am off to work. Have a great day everyone.
